Anaplan appoints Atul Patel as Vice President of Alliances and Channels, Asia Pacific and Japan

Industry veteran to build partner ecosystem and
channel business to extend Anaplan’s impressive growth in the region

Singapore – March 30, 2015 –Anaplantoday announced the appointment of Atul Patel as Vice President of Alliances and Channels, Asia Pacific and Japan effective 26 March, 2015. In his new role, Patel will oversee the Anaplan APJ partner and ecosystem strategy and build Anaplan’s indirect business to drive the company’s growth in the region.

Patel brings with him over 22 years of experience and expertise in data analytics and business development. He joins Anaplan from SAP where he served as Vice President, Business Analytics, Asia Pacific and Japan and was responsible for driving the growth of platform solutions for top enterprise customers.

Patel holds an MBA from the SP University, India and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from MS University, India.

Anaplan recently reported a 91% customer growth rate for 2014. The company also announced that its bookings increased at a growth rate of 230% over the same period, which represents 2.1 times more bookings in FY15 (ended on January 31, 2015) than the previous two years combined.
