Product Seasonality

Hi all,

Can anyone help me by explaining the product seasonality types(Product Specific, Product Mix, All Products, Region, Straight). Am finding it difficult to get the concept.

Hey Aswin,

i've looked at this model, 2 years back and i remember something like this: -

Let's say we have 3 products P1, P2, P3 Where P1, P2 belong to one product mix and P3 belong to other and you're trying to split yearly data into months by using these methods

1. Product specific -> P1 (month)/ P1 (year)

2. Product mix -> P1 (month) / (P1 + P2) (year)

3. All Products -> P1 (month)/ (P1+P2+P3) (year)

4. Straight > 1/12
