Hi, I see your summary module has only two dimensions of the three in your first image. What you can try doing is convert the number to text in another line and set the summary to Lastnonblank. Then if you directly refer the line item in the final summary module, you’d get the last text formatted value basis the two common dimensions. Convert it to number using VALUE function. I did not try it but I think it should work. Let me know

Hi - thanks for your response. I think I need to keep it more simple for now as I am fairly new to model builder - essential out business model has evolved far to largely and there is no need for payroll information to be here - so looking at a spoke design. I have done this, and via a linking module i can successful import the data required - but I just wanted to know if importing is the best way or if there is something more automated? you mentioned cloudworks? I'm not aware of what this is.

@lcapon As @abhi1017 has commented your formula is not quite right regarding the syntax. Rather than writing the module and line references manually select them directly and the correct references will pull into the formula automatically. Also, are the dimensions of the source are present in the target module. IF so, then you can simply reference the data and it will populate from source to target. However, if there is a difference in dimensions you will receive a mismatch of dimension error. If this happens you will need to map your source dimensions into your target module. It would also be best practice to simply reference the source directly in any downstream formulas as you are creating redundancy by duplicating the start date and any other property in your target module.

嗨@lcapon !There are several reasons why data can be closed from editing: 1. They are calculated using the formula (as Rob wrote above). 2. This is aggregated data. 3. You do not have write access to the cell (governed by selective access, version settings, or dynamic cell access). 4. These are the actual months on the forecast version. To check the last point: see if there is a version in the module and if the switchover on. It is possible that you do not need it.

@lcapon The formula hint details the query that needs to be built to determine whether the user will have final write and/or read access. Work through the sequence of events which need to be true in order for the line item to return a true result itself.
