苏pply Chain Resources on Community

Do you make it a habit to regular check blog posts on Community that are related to Supply Chain? How about the anaplan.com blog? One cool feature of the Community search bar is that it will bring back results from Community, the App Hub and anaplan.com (1,457 results as of this blog post).

Here are a few I found interesting:

苏pply Chain Planning: The Power of Co-Creation (https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Blog/Supply-Chain-Planning-The-Power-of-Co-Creation/ba-p/87850)

How could I forget this one:

BOM Creation in Anaplan (https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Anaplan-Platform/BOM-Creation-in-Anaplan/m-p/92890/highlight/true#M...)

Scroll down to David Smith's very detailed response. The relevant document is attached here for reference...

@MichaelDThat article is legendary. Easy to miss because it's not a best practice article, just an attachment to a response. Go figure. I used this logic to great some amazing apps.

In this example, you can select any component or raw material and see all the finished products that use it. In addition, you can add the cost and leadtime so that when matched up with demand it will recommend when you should order the article. Best part is that you can build the finished product using the available raw materials and components, integrate with PLM, or both. Thank you@DavidSmith!!
