L1 MB - Lesson 8.5.3 Import Data into Volume Inputs Module

Hello,

I don't know what I did wrong with mapping source to target.

Error log indicate something to do with Volumes and I check the mapping relating to Volumes and it has been set to 'Fixed line item'.

Back in the Grid View, I can see all the data came across. So I'm confuse now by the error mention in the log. How do I fix it?

Hi Candy!

In the first you must change import mapping for file. You need choose second row as "Header Row".

For change it you need open Action - Import Data Source and select your file and click "Edit".

Try your import again after this changes.

Yes, the system replaces the data in the cells when importing. You can change the import setting so that the system cleans the slice completely. More details can be found here:help

The only thing is, if you import into a sheet, then you need to check if you have any artifacts from incorrect imports.

If my answers helped you then please mark one of them as a solution. Thanks you!

Hi Anton,

Thank you for your advice!:grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Just another question on importing again. If I the follow the same process to import the data file again, the system will know to replace the existing data? I wouldn't get duplicates.

Thank you
