Request Allow page builders to specify the chart area size of chart cards. Additionally, allow model builders to specify the legend area of chart cards. Why? Charts resize dynamically within the NUX. When displaying several cards of the same type (e.g. several doughnut charts on an executive dashboard) the sizes will vary when changing page selectors or adding additional series items. This has two impacts: Unprofessional and untidy reports. Unnecessary time spent adjusting chart sizes to "eyeball" the size of each chart. Below is an example. All of the charts are the same size (they have been duplicated) however the legend area changing causes the chart area size to change.

On report pages, please add a snap to grid feature. Objects placed on the report page should snap to the page grid. Please add a toggle to allow page builders to overlay a grid when editing a page. Finally, please give page builders the ability to change the size/spacing of the grid.

Adding filters/dropdowns to the modules panel would be a simple solution to help model builders locate modules. Something similar to the excel functionality would be perfect. I believe this solution would be both easy to implement and substantial help to model builders. I very often export the modules panel to excel just to check if a module with the dimensions that I need already exists. I've created a brief mock-up of what this could look like:

The ability to edit the source model of multiple pages at once would be a huge quality of life update for page builders. Currently, model builders have to edit settings for each page one-by-one. This idea proposes that page builders can apply the same change to multiple pages at once: image below shows how this could work.

Please add the ability to conditionally format actions cards within the NUX. Superficially, may appear minor, however this would be a powerful way to guide users in apps and provide workflow. For example, a page builder could highlight any actions that require running. As a additional benefit, this would help model builders reduce the total number of actions within a process. Consider an update process, typically a model builder will create one process (e.g. 'Update Model') that will hold all actions required (e.g. Update Lists X, Y Z, Updates Modules A, B, C, and order lists). By adding conditional formatting to action cards a model builder could reduce the actions within the process. Instead, end users would be directed to the exact actions that are required to run.

Note: please send Kudos to this post to get it on the roadmap. Please can either model builders or end users have the option to toggle the summary method used on lists where it is possible to view the total of visible items only. For example, consider a list Countries in a module with one line item, Revenue. Countries contains USA, UK, France, and Germany. To make things simple, each country has Revenue of 25. In this module, users can view the revenue from all countries. The default value for All Countries is 100, simple. Let's say however, that a user only wants to see the data for UK, France, and Germany. This user right-click and Shows only these countries. Please can there be an option added such that All Countries equals 75 (and not 100). There will need to be a visual cue that the total is being based on the selection rather than all list items. Personally, I feel that this behaviour should be the default behaviour. Especially when considering how totals work in Excel tables. I believe that users would expect the total value to only include visible items.

Within the Line Items tab of the import dialogue, please can line item sources be removed when these are removed from the import data source. Take the below as an example: If I were to remove Revenue from the import data source, the Revenue line item source would still appear on the left to be mapped to a line item target. This is OK when you are importing using a small number of line item sources. However, if you have many line items to map, it can get really messy when you have to do the mapping, as you cannot tell which line items still exist within the source.

This would greatly help model builders test actions where creating a process is not needed. The order that the actions would be run in would be based on when each action was selected. I.e. the first selected action would be run first. This would keep consistency with the Show functionality on list and line items. Here is an example, in the below image clicking Run would run the selected actions.

I'm interested to see which is the better performer and also, subjectively, which function is more 'readable': SUM or IF, in the following scenario... Consider that you are building a model for an international retailer. This retailer is setting up stores in different countries. When setting up a store in the first month, set up costs will be incurred. These are one-off costs that apply to one month only, and vary on the country. You want to give users the ability to tweak the setup costs and setup month. This could be achieved quite simply using the following: A dashboard containing; Input assumptions (setup period and cost) P&L output Dashboard showing inputs and P&L Here is a view of the IF formula*: And here is a view of the sum formula: *The IF formula should be reversed as the most common scenario (and therefore earliest exit) is that the current period is not the setup period. Note that the two formulae are producing the same result. I am mostly interested in which formula is more efficient, and also which formula people think is more understandable. Off the top of my head some here are some arguments in favour of each: IF Gives the ability to add multiple conditions in the future. Technically follows the 'natural language' of the process, being if it's the first month the store attracts setup costs. SUM Formula shows the what is pulling through before anything else (Setup Input.Setup Cost). No fiddling with early exit on IFs. I'm keen to see the opinion of others on this topic!
