We're pleased to announce an update to our popular Microsoft Office extensions: theExcel Add-inand thePowerPoint Add-in.
This update allows administrators to install the add-ins on aper userorall userbasis, which can be useful if you're running certain configurations of Citrix. (However, do consult with your administrator before installing the add-ins in a Citrix environment to ensure that your configuration is supported.)
We've enhanced the installer to offer two installation contexts:Only for meandEverybody. The new, per-machine, option enablesall usersof a computer to access and use the add-ins, reducing administration overhead and offering support for internal policies regarding the installation of software. If you're an administrator, when you next run the installer you'll be able to choose the installation mode you want to run.
