What brought you to Anaplan?
\r\n
The platform, the market opportunity, and the talented and passionate team.

\r\n

What most excites you most about your new role at Anaplan?
\r\n
Leading a very good company on its journey to becoming a really great company!

\r\n

What’s the best career advice you ever received?
\r\n
My father told me to “do what I love or do something else”. That advice has stayed with me and has given me the courage to create several different “chapters” in my career.

\r\n

When you were a child/younger, what did you want to do when you grew up?
\r\n
I wanted to be a professional football player, but mediocre athletic ability and a less than imposing physical stature limited those dreams. As a young adult, I wanted to be a psychologist.

\r\n

What do you like to do in your spare time?
\r\n
Traveling with my wife and my young adult children when they are available is top of my list. I also prioritize staying healthy and exercise when my schedule permits.

\r\n

What are you binge-watching?
\r\n
I just finished season one of Winning Time with John C. Reilly as Jerry Buss, owner of the L.A. Lakers.

\r\n

What’s your favorite book?
\r\n
I can’t possibly pick one! A few years ago, I read a fantasy series with my daughter called The Iron Druid Chronicles – the stories were well written and sharing it with my daughter made the entire experience so memorable!
